Our Services

Microchipping is another service we offer our healthy pets. This involves placing a small radio-frequency identifier (RFID) chip about the size of a grain of rice under your pet’s skin. It’s as easy as giving a vaccine, with no anesthesia required, and it’s low cost.

The microchip is registered in your name and your contact information goes into a nationwide database. If your pet is ever lost, local animal shelters and veterinarians have microchip scanners that can read the number on the chip. They just call the nationwide hotline, provide the chip number, and get your contact information in order to reunite you with your lost pet.

We have seen many happy reunions all due to microchips, but our favorite was the dog who escaped from his yard the day after he got his chip and was found and reunited with his owner that same day. That’s one lucky dog, and an even smarter owner for microchipping!
